Terms of service

The agreement between Gjestly and the guesthouse. Applies to businesses (B2B).

  1. 1. The agreement and the parties

The agreement is entered into by businesses with an org number.

  2. 2. The service

Booking system with website, invoicing and operations, per chosen plan.

  3. 3. What these terms cover

These terms apply to the Gjestly subscription: the booking system, the booking page and the operations that come with the plan you choose. A website build (the Klassisk or Premium website) is delivered and invoiced by iBithun and is a separate agreement with iBithun, not part of these terms. The same applies to ongoing hosting, support and maintenance of that website: if you want iBithun to handle it, that is an optional monthly agreement with iBithun, and if you put the website somewhere else, no such agreement runs. Neither of the two iBithun agreements affects the Gjestly subscription, and you can have the subscription without either of them.

  4. 4. Prices and payment

Prices excl. VAT. The price never changes in a prepaid period; adjustments are announced at least 30 days in advance, with the exception of the launch price lock described below.

  5. 5. Launch price: locked for 24 months

Guesthouses that take out a subscription in 2026 keep the monthly price they started on for 24 paid subscription months, regardless of later changes to the price list. The lock applies to the subscription price excl. VAT. It does not apply to the one-time packages for setup and custom design, which are priced separately, and it does not apply to changes in public duties such as VAT. If you change plan during the lock period, the lock follows you: you pay the price that plan had when you took out your subscription. The lock carries no lock-in: you can cancel at any time, with effect from the next month end. If you cancel along the way, the lock pauses: it resumes where you left off when you start the subscription again.

  6. 6. Trial and renewal

14 day free trial from publish; the subscription starts automatically afterwards; notice 7 and 3 days before the first charge.

  7. 7. Termination

No lock-in. Termination takes effect from the next billing period.

  8. 8. Right of withdrawal

The Norwegian withdrawal act applies to consumer purchases, not business purchases. Instead: free trial, no lock-in, cancel anytime.

  9. 9. Liability

  10. 10. Data processing

The data processing agreement is part of the agreement.

  11. 11. Changes to the terms

This section is under legal review and is not final.

  12. 12. Governing law and venue

This section is under legal review and is not final.
